How does it matter what the world thinks?

I have given it my all

I have stood strong

I set out to do what I felt was right

I worked hard all day and night

It was the best I could do as me

So what if the world didn’t see

I am a winner cause I didn’t doubt my dream

I am a winner cause I have now crossed this stream

My happiness does not lie in what people think of me

I am happy just because I am proud of me
