I have developed a bad habit. When I am not working or doing anything I browse on my mobile screen for hours. I look at shopping sites even though I may not buy anything. I look at frivolous news items such as Kareena Kapoor’s son Taimur or Kate Middleton or Aishwarya Rai. I look at mostly useless stuff…stuff that doesn’t concern me or is no use to me. I browse through my whatsapp messages and look at the profile pictures of the message senders…God alone knows why. This exercise doesn’t help me one bit. In fact, it keeps me away from writing, from doing things that are important. At night, I decide to read a book on my kindle and then end up browsing more. I know its a time waster…but it seems I am addicted to it. Or may be I can get rid of it….Any ideas?
Much ado about nothing…a disease called browsing
